Meet Kai

Kai is an Emmy nominated writer, actor, singer, and educator originally from the Seattle area.

 

After receiving his undergraduate degree in Christian education at Biola University in Los Angeles, Kai landed a coveted singing role in one of Disney’s El Capitan Theater shows on Hollywood Blvd. From there he began working in entertainment at Disneyland in the character department, as well as performing improv roles in the park and for special events. Along with Merlin the Wizard and Jack Skellington, he loved caroling on Mainstreet U.S.A. during the Christmas season. During these years, he was also involved full time in children’s ministry, serving in two local churches. After moving to Tennessee in 2005, he began co-writing and performing in the gold selling preschool series “Miss Pattycake” as “Mr. Stan the Handyman.”

 

Kai received an Emmy nomination and Telly award as writer and host for the interactive preschool series “Lil K.” As a voiceover artist, you can hear Kai’s voice on numerous video games, including Star Trek online, Rift, Warcraft 3, Neverwinter and Lord of the Rings, to name a few.

 

Kai currently resides in Franklin, Tenn.
